I counsel people nationwide by phone/Skype daily. It deeply saddens my heart when a ministry leader is involved in a sinful lifestyle and threatens his wife to silence. Paul addresses the subject of sexual sins in the Corinthian church. They are to be exposed and dealt with.
God says be sure your sins will find you out. I have encouraged many wives to stop emotional abuse by their ungodly husbands and go to spiritual leadership and expose the sin. What ever the line of authority is in your organization, sin must be exposed.
Yes, I believe in repentance and restoration. But sin cannot be hidden within the church body. God says everything that is done in secret will be revealed openly. We cannot allow the way of the world to enter into the church. Paul said to not even eat (fellowship) with someone who is involved in sexual sins.
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE ANSWER TO LIVING A HOLY LIFE UNTO THE LORD!!!!
GOD IS GOD and we all will reap what we sow in righteousness or ungodliness!!!!!!
Note: Male and female sexual sins are both wrong. But in 23 years of counseling, I’ve never received a call from an abused husband whose wife has threatened him because of her sexual sins!
