Psalm 119 – God’s Words and Wisdom
“9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
NOTE: I challenge everyone – are you in the Word of God daily? I’ve been studying and teaching from God’s Word for over 50 years. I still do not know it all.
We are cheating ourselves if we do not get into the Word of God for self. Studying the Word of God, His heart is part of what builds an intimate relationship with God.
We cannot know God intimately without knowing His Word. His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Praying is our connecting with God and sharing our hearts with Him. All healthy relationships take a commitment of time. How much time do you spend with God?
God is so important to me that I take my thoughts to Him continually. I have an inner dialogue with God constantly. I ask for His wisdom. I desire to please Him in all areas of my life. This is all because the foundation of my life is based on knowing God’s Word.
Is your relationship with God growing deeper and closer each day? The epistles written to the church in the New Testament are our letters to read and understand how we ought to behave ourselves.
Why don’t you try feeding yourself with God’s Word three times a day as you feed your body? Just a few minutes at a time – your soul will be blessed!
