Many people are sitting in our churches having experienced salvation, but the joy of their salvation has been destroyed by the pain from their abusive past. Their thinking is distorted because of the pain. They struggle with damaged emotions, not understanding they are in a spiritual warfare with the devil.
We must understand that salvation removes our sins, but it does not remove our experiences in life, our memories or our emotions. Our churches must become ‘healing hospitals’ beyond the new birth of salvation. My 50 years of Bible teaching, including my education of integrating the Bible with counseling principles and 23 years of experience as a Certified Pastoral Counselor helping the hurting through God-based counseling gives me the unique ability of providing a ministry in support to pastors.
We can be ‘transformed by renewing our minds.’ My heartbeat is using scripture through counseling, teaching and writing to bring healing to the hurting hearts. I provide a nationwide confidential counseling ministry by phone/Skype for pastors and lay people.
