POWER IN WORDS!!!!!
As I read Proverbs 11:11 today, again the power of words was emphasized. NKJ – “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth (talk) of the wicked.”
When the upright speak words of blessing over a city, it is exalted.
BUT the wicked destroy it with their talk!!!! NLT – “but the talk of the wicked tear it apart.”
Proverbs 18:21 – “Death and life are in he power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” If our tongue speaks ‘death’, we will eat the death of the situation. If our tongue speaks ‘life’, we will eat the life of the situation.
What we speak (forth tell) will happen!! Speak words of life into your own life and into the life of others. If you have a need, pray the answer to the need to the Lord with thanksgiving! Thank you, Lord, for supplying (specific) need. Thank you, Lord, for this healing – be specific about the answer. Do not dwell on the negative of the problem. When we talk about the negative of the issue, we are speaking ‘death’ into the situation.
We all experience negative situations. I have a major need for my ministry now. Instead of talking about the negative aspect of the situation, I’m choosing to pray and speak the answer many times every day. This is genuine faith! Faith is substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen!!!! I visualize my answer in faith believing. It’s worked before and I know God will make it happen again!
Listen to your words!! Are they negative or positive through faith in God? Make a study of the tongue in scripture. God spoke the world into existence through the power of His Words!!
Every miracle He did on earth was through spoken words! God lives in us through the power of the Holy Ghost. Our words are powerful. We can do all things through Christ who infuses His inner strength into us!
Will you speak words of blessing for self and others through the power of thanksgiving prayer? Or will your words tear down self and others?
I choose the words of life and faith in God!
