A fire is burning in my heart about what I’m doing daily to impact others for eternity! Some in leadership decry the evil that is on the Internet. There is truth in this thought, but there is a greater truth to consider. The Internet is used for evil, but we individually can use it for the glory of God!
God has allowed knowledge to increase in these last days for His purpose and glory. I use the Internet for my ministry of teaching, counseling, and writing. I have my website – www.carolclemans.org. I have posted over 430 articles about God’s truth on the website, several video teachings plus teaching CD’s, DVD’s and book: God’s Design for Marriage. I counsel nationwide through Skype, Facebook video, phone and Facetime on my iPhone (636) 448-0121. This is all modern technology.
Facebook offers the opportunity to touch lives around the world. I have my personal page, Carol Theobald Clemans. I have four other pages: Life Enrichment Ministries, Inc. (501c3)/God’s Healing for Hurting People/Growing in God Spiritually, Emotionally, Relationally/Worldwide Apostolic Pentecostal Friends. I post all my articles on a total of 15 sites on Facebook that have over 120,000+ members.
YouTube Carol Clemans channel has over 100 of my teaching videos. Again, this is a worldwide opportunity to touch peoples’ hearts for godliness. I want to challenge everyone as to what you are doing daily to touch others’ lives for eternity. This first begins in the home.
I share my family history. My father’s family at his age 15 heard about the gospel of Acts 2. They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and received the Holy Ghost in 1925. God led my father into ministry at the age of 42. He loved God’s Word and became a great Eschatology theologian. My parents taught we children by example how to live godly lives 24 hours per day – not just a relationship with church attendance only.
This godly influence in my life turned my heart to God. At age nine years old, I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost after being baptized in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost. I grew up in a loving caring home that allowed the Fruit of the Spirit to shine. We were not perfect, but walked in God’s love.
Now at 71 years young, I can look back over my life, ministry, marriage, and parenting and give God all the glory as to how the generational love of God was passed down now to the fifth generation still proclaiming God’s love for eternity.
Parent believers, is your daily home life reflecting God’s glory in all you do? Can your children see God in action? Do you have family time with God? I just read a short book: Family Worship by Donald S. Whitney. This is a must-read for every parent! There is nothing more important than preparing in this life for our eternity!
Most people use all their energies for creating income for provision for living in this life. What is being done to prepare those we love for eternity? If we all lived 100 years, it is not even a speck of time compared to the length of eternity – never ending. My question: What are you doing daily to impact your children’s lives for godliness and eternity?
Duet. 6 tells parents to teach godliness when you rise in the morning, walking along the way, sitting down and going to bed at night. How? Using life’s experiences as an opportunity to center God in all settings teaching your children to pass all thoughts through God first about every activity of life. When we take our thoughts to God first, then our feelings, words, and actions will be God-centered. This is a truth that the Christian world needs to hear and do! The teaching needs to begin in the home by word and example.
Parents, you will answer to God as to how you parented your children. Family Worship breaks it down in simple directions and by others’ examples how to have family worship daily in our homes. Do you want your children to go to heaven? What are you doing to impact their hearts daily for God? Nothing is more important!
How are you impacting family, fellow workers, extended family, friends, etc. for godliness? Do you make God an intimate part of your daily conversation in conduct and words? Paul said, 1 Corinthians 2:2New King James Version (NKJV)
2 “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”
Jesus Christ could appear in the skies any moment to call His Bride to heaven! Is your family saved? Do they know God in the power of the Holy Ghost? John 3: 3-5 – we must be born of water and spirit to be able to see and enter into the Kingdom of God.
I pray God will stir all parents, adults, leadership in the church, and every heart to put God in the center of all you do. Live your life to glorify God in your body and spirit which belong to God – I Cor. 6: 18 – 20. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
