I recently posted an article on my FB page (Carol Theobald Clemans) from FBI statistics – fists and hammers kill approximately 100% more people in a year than rifles or shotguns. The truth is that it takes a person with evil in their heart to use their fist, or hammer, or knife, or rifle, or shotgun, or gun to kill someone. It’s not the object that kills; it is the evil choice of the person who uses the object. People kill, not objects!!!
Every time there is a killing episode in the US, the government leaders all start ‘shouting,’ “We need more gun control!” That comes from hearts of people who want to control the citizens instead of providing citizens the freedom to protect themselves.

“In the right to bear arms debate, pro-gun Americans point to Switzerland, where almost every adult male is legally required to possess a gun. One of the few nations with a higher per capita rate of gun ownership than the United States, Switzerland has virtually no gun crime. Therefore, argue the pro-gunners, America doesn’t need gun control.”
The American government needs to heed to what Switzerland is doing. If every responsible male and female citizen in America carried a gun, our crime rate would drop profoundly! This makes common sense! The only reason the government wants to eliminate citizens from owning guns is because the government desires the ability to declare marshal law and render citizens totally helpless.
Because of the immoral laws the government has allowed such as killing unborn babies in their mothers’ wombs, the value of human life has shrunk to zero! When it becomes lawful to murder babies inside the womb, then all life is vulnerable at any age to be killed without remorse!
America was founded on godly morals. The government has allowed the people with sin in their hearts to remove God and morals out of every facet of public life and evil is reigning. God predicted this in the end times, evil will wax worse and worse! The answer to the evil in the hearts of people is GOD! It’s evil in hearts of people that causes them to dishonor God, morals and values. It’s every person to his/her own selfish desires – hearts are continually evil!
Satan is the ‘god’ of this world. If people are not serving and worshiping the Almighty God, they are serving Satan and their own selfishness. Some might feel this to be a harsh statement, but it is based on God’s truth. God is the answer to the evil that is reigning on this earth! Government may try to restrict guns, but it will not stop the evil in the hearts of people. We are all born sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God.
The world needs Jesus! The transformation of salvation removes evil from hearts. Everyone needs to repent of his/her sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and receive God’s gift of His Spirit as on the Day of Pentecost. After salvation, we must continually choose to follow Jesus. We make the decision daily to allow God to sit on the throne of our hearts. We must be holy as He is holy! Jesus is returning soon for His Bride!
