Psalm 138:2 (NKJV) “I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for you have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
My soul was blessed by watching the teaching of Dr. David Jeremiah on line from Revelation. What was interesting – the church was packed out and most of the people had a Bible on their laps following the teaching of God’s Word.
Where are the Bibles in our churches today? I know we flash the scriptures up on the screens in our churches, but I cannot underline a verse or highlight a verse that speaks to me from the screen.Our churches need the teaching of the Word!
We as individuals must study the Word of God – we can be assured of His soon coming for a people without spot or wrinkle – we can be assured that He is coming to take His Bride out of this world and save them from the wrath to come – that is stated in more than one verse in the Bible!
I counsel people nationwide by phone & Skype. I can tell by the issues that I am counseling that the Word is not being taught in a way that makes it into the hearts of people to help them with daily living. God’s Word has the answer to salvation and also to the instructions on how we ought to live to glorify God in our bodies and spirit.
God’s Word has the answers to help saved people who are hurting because of life’s experiences to heal, forgive and grow up unto Him! God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path – we must have the Word of God!
God’s Word says that He magnifies His Word above His name!!!! What do we magnify??????
