Today, I posted these notes on my Life Enrichment Ministries, Inc. Facebook page. I felt to post them on my website to stir up the gift that lies within us – the Holy Ghost – that we must have to be ready for the coming of Jesus Christ for His Bride.
Salvation comes by receiving our personal Pentecost as happened in Acts 2. Everything that is happening in the world today shouts loudly of Jesus’ soon return for His Bride that He shed His blood on Calvary for the payment of our sins. He is coming for a church that is looking for Him!
The letter written to the PHILADELPHIA church:
Revelation 3:10-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
10 “Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing (KJ – wrath that is to come) that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.
11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.
12 All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name.
13 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”
This is the promise to the true church now – who has not denied His name and has kept His Word! (1Thess. 1:10).
We are living in the LAODICEAN age, but the Philadelphia church represents the true church and is looking for Jesus to return in the clouds to call His Bride to heaven!!!!!
The timeline for the coming of the Lord for His Bride is upon us. We do not know the date or the hour, but we know it could be any time. It’s been 6,000 (plus or minus) years from Adam until now. After the church is taken out of this world there will be 7 years of tribulation – Great Tribulation – then God returns with His saints on white horses – He conquerors the devil in a pit for the 1,000 years of peace – then looses the devil for a time – then has final victory over the devil and evil – this will conclude the 7,000 years of man’s day.
There will be a White Throne Judgment – God renovates this earth with fire – creating a new heaven and new earth. Those who survive the great tribulation and do not take the Mark of the Beast – 666 will inherit the new earth. We, the church, will be reigning over His new creation with HIM forever and ever!!!!!!!
During the great tribulation of 7 years, we (the Bride) will enjoy the marriage supper of the lamb in heaven and, also, experience the Judgment Seat of Christ where God gives rewards to each of us according to our works – our life on earth.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD???????
The Bride of Christ is baptized in His name – Jesus Christ. After Jesus’ resurrection, he ascended to heaven telling his followers to go to Jerusalem until they were baptized with His Spirit – the Comforter. John (John 3) tells us that we must be born again of water and Spirit to see and to enter into the kingdom of God.
After salvation, we must be Holy as He is Holy. It is holiness of the heart that controls all we say and do. We are to do everything heartily as unto the Lord! I call it living in a God-conscious state of mind. We must filter every thought, feeling and action through God first. We must allow the Fruit of the Spirit to reign in our hearts and actions.
The old chorus we do not sing anymore is still true – “He’s coming soon. He’s coming soon. With joy we welcome His returning. It may be morn; it may be night or noon. We know He’s coming soon!”
I’m using every means I have to sound the clarion call – “JESUS IS COMING – JESUS IS COMING!”
