1 Corinthians 6:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
All of us are responsible to God for every thought, feeling and action. Prov. 5: 21 NKJ – “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and HE ponders all of his paths.” If there is sin within leadership or leaders allow people to be in ministry that are living in sin, this is sinning directly against the Lord!
1 John 3:6 – 9 KJV – “Whosoever abideth in HIM sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen HIM, neither known HIM. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as HE is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin!”
Church – please wake up! We cannot allow sin to continue in the church without addressing the issues. We all will give an account to God for what we know and how we lived before God. Sin will not enter heaven!
Revelation 21:7 & 8 – NKJ – “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My Son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
In the above scripture – “the sexually immoral” – includes every sexual sin = adultery, fornication, porn addiction, sexual abuse, same sex attraction, etc. Sadly, some people who go to church are involved in these sexual sins and the issues are not being addressed from the pulpit in a healthy way or dealt with on an individual basis. Sexual sins spread as yeast does in dough throughout a church. The devil has taken the one wonderful gift God gave for marriage and is destroying the world and hindering the church with the distortion of God’s beautiful design for marriage.
When a pastor admonishes the church to not question his authority, this is skating on thin ice with God. All leaders are to submit to the Word of God. Paul instructs, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” Paul dealt directly with all sin issues. He believed in exposing the sin and encouraging repentance and restoration.
Explosive anger and any type of abuse in the home or church is not a product of the Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5. Paul told the church at Ephesus to be kind one to another and tenderhearted forgiving one another. I Cor. 13 – the love chapter – tells us how the Holy Ghost is to work in our lives through God’s love. The love of God is in our hearts through the Holy Ghost. There is hope and healing for hurting hearts through the Word of God. That’s what I do in counseling – help others to ‘be transformed by renewing their minds’ with God’s healing truth.
The Lord is coming soon for a Bride without spot or wrinkle or any such thing! Church leaders and saints – let’s wake out of our ‘sleep’ and stir up the gift that lies within us to stand for righteousness!
! Cor. 6:20 – we are to glorify God in our body and Spirit.

Rev. 22:12 & 13 – NKJ – “And behold I am coming quickly, and MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE TO EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO HIS WORK. I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST.” Vs 20 – “He who testifies to these things say, ‘SURELY I AM COMING QUICKLY,’ Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus!”
