A ministry dear friend touched my heart today:
She called from a northern state and said, “You are a Deborah for the church today. People come to you nationwide seeking your counsel.” I looked up the meaning of Deborah and it said, “She Knows.”
All that I know is because of God’s wisdom. The more I know, the more I realize I do not know. I seek God’s wisdom daily in prayer and His Word. God’s Word says to ‘grow up into Him.’ That is my daily challenge is to grow more to be like Him!
When the woman anointed Jesus’ feet with oil, Jesus said, “She hath done what she could.” It is my heartfelt desire to all I do with His wisdom/Spirit for His glory!
God created each of us in His image and after His likeness. We have unique abilities to be used for His good pleasure – Phil 2:13 NLT – “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”
Ephesians 2:10 NKJ – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”
I want my legacy to be: She hath done what she could for His glory!
